What time can I check-in and check-out?

Yes – we want our guests to stay connected. We offer complimentary Wi-Fi in the lobby and all guest rooms.

Does The Surrey have a restaurant? Is there room service available?

Chef Daniel Boulud brings incredible dining to The Surrey with Café Boulud. Inspired by Chef Daniel Boulud’s unique twist on time-honored French cuisine prepared with seasonal, market-fresh ingredients, Café Boulud celebrates New York’s café society with award-winning results. The restaurant’s accolades include one Michelin star and a 3-star review in The New York Times.

The hotel also offers Bar Pleiades which combines the respectful, attentive service of a fine hotel bar with the inspired cocktail menu of a gifted mixologist.

We provide in-room dining courtesy of Café Boulud. All guest accommodations include a menu of seasonal dishes prepared by the restaurant and brought up to the comfort of your guest room or suite. At any hour, in-room service offers the same caliber of uncompromised quality as in the restaurant itself.

Does The Surrey have a rooftop?

Crowning the 17th floor of The Surrey, the seasonal Private Roof Garden overlooks the Upper East Side and Central Park. It’s a true oasis exclusively for guests, ideal for business entertaining or couples on retreat. The panoramic Manhattan views are best contemplated along with light food and signature cocktails from the classic New York City rooftop bar—most notably, seasonal muddled lemonades. The Private Roof Garden is open seasonally to guests of The Surrey and members of the Patrons Club, with food and beverage service offered daily.

Does the Surrey have specialty suites?

The hotel features two specialty suites: our Penthouse and Presidential Suites.

Our Penthouse Suite the ultimate private residence: a 1,200 square-foot / 111 square meter hotel penthouse in NYC with ample living and dining areas, a master bedroom, master bath and half bath for guests. Outdoors, a generously appointed and fully furnished private wraparound terrace awaits. The oversized bedroom is deeply indulgent: a private sitting area, wardrobe and spacious master bath with glass-enclosed shower and soaking tub invite pure tranquility.

Our NYC Presidential Suite features a generously-sized living room which lends itself to socializing as well as offering quiet corners for a more intimate feel. A versatile space, its seating accommodates several guests around the grand marble fireplace and at the window seats in every window. A 37-inch Samsung LCD TV is concealed tastefully within it, and central to the room, a baby grand piano adds a luxe touch for entertaining. Perfectly arranged for parties of 10, the immaculate formal dining room includes a dining table and sideboard, as well as an expansive wet bar with seating. Available with one or two bedrooms, this presidential suite features walk-in closets, an executive desk, and a library. Its bath is designed for two with dual private vanities and toilet rooms, an oversized soaking tub with its own LCD TV, glass-enclosed shower and sauna.

What is The Surrey’s smoking policy?

The Surrey is a smoke-free environment. Smoking in your room will result in a daily $250 fine.

Is there a spa at The Surrey?

Yes, Cornelia Spa is an intimate pied-a-terre-style luxury Manhattan spa within The Surrey. Its warm, near-silent atmosphere makes it a veritable oasis from the urban sprawl of NYC. Appointments for treatments can be reserved by calling 646.358.3600 or emailing us at appointments@corneliaspaatthesurrey.com.

Does The Surrey have a fitness center?

Our 24-hour fitness center is located on the 2nd floor. Through our partnership with Technogym, the Italian equipment designer and official Olympics supplier, we provide treadmills, elliptical trainers, stair climbers, exercise bikes, yoga mats and free weights for guest use. Hand towels, water and earphones are also provided.

Can I bring my pet?

Pets are always welcome at The Surrey and invited to utilize our Posh Pets program. All pets enjoy a plush doggy bed along with a matching set of food and water bowls. Our concierge team can also recommend local pet-friendly parks, restaurants and dog walking services. There is a $150 one-time non-refundable pet cleaning fee per stay.

Is there a limit to how long I can stay at The Surrey?

Does the hotel offer valet services?

Valet Parking is $75 per 24-hour period for cars, $85 for SUVs. In-and-out privileges are not included.
